PLC raised a record $725,000 for free civil legal aid for Orange County’s poorest and most vulnerable

Thank you to our sponsors (including our Diamond-level sponsors Crowell & Moring LLP, Latham & Watkins LLP, and the OCBA Lawyer Referral & Information Service) our Dinner Committee Co-Chairs Michele Johnson and Mark Erickson, Silent Auction Committee Chair Shiry Tannenbaum, all our Committee Members, and our Board of Directors.

The Who’s Who of Orange County’s legal community gathered on Monday night, June 22nd, to raise $725,000 for the Public Law Center’s annual Volunteers for Justice Dinner. The 900 guests were treated to a keynote address by California Supreme Court Justice Mariano-Florentino Cuéllar, several heartwarming stories about the impact of PLC’s work on the Orange County community, and award presentations to PLC’s Pro Bono stars. The event also featured television icon Stephanie Edwards as the emcee, the premier silent auction in Orange County, and a special musical prelude by the student performers of Mariachi for All.
