PLC assists low-income immigrants of Orange County in providing consultations, filing for various forms of immigration relief with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), and deportation defense in immigration court (both detained and non-detained removal defense), and conducts community education on immigration issues.

Our areas of focus include helping victims of domestic violence, human trafficking, sexual abuse, and other crimes, unaccompanied minors, asylum seekers, and immigrants who wish to apply for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), adjustment of status (lawful permanent residency), or naturalization.

 We provide assistance in the following areas of relief:

  • Adjustment of Status (application for lawful permanent residency)
  • Asylum (for those fleeing persecution in their country of nationality)
  • Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals – DACA (for immigrants who entered the United States as children and were educated in the U.S.)
  • Deportation Defense (removal defense)
  • Naturalization (application for U.S. citizenship)
  • Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (for minors 21 years old and younger who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned by one or both of their parents)
  • T Visa (victims of human trafficking)
  • U Visa (victims of serious crimes)
  • VAWA Petitions (victims of abuse by a spouse, parent, or child with lawful immigration status)
